What is the ROUTE-TO-PA Working Group?
The “Open Data for Transparency” ROUTE-TO-PA Working Group (in brief ROUTE-TO-PA WG) is a group of individuals (under the umbrella of the ROUTE-TO-PA project) that are interested – from a scientific and practical point of view – on the topics that were addressed by the ROUTE-TO-PA project throughout its whole duration. It is formed in an informal way, after the ROUTE-TO-PA project’s closure and consists initially of persons that have been actively involved in all the phases of ROUTE-TO-PA contributing to the project’s know-how.
Aims
The main aim of the working group is to capture the momentum that has been generated and exploit the project results on a voluntary basis while at the same time promote open data in European Public Administrations. ROUTE-TO-PA WG intends to:
- Disseminate the project’s results and findings (SPOD, TET, SIM).
- Capitalise the outcomes of the project and seek ways of exploiting its legacies.
- Provide visibility to the persons involved in the project, as well as some kind of credibility in terms of their expertise on the topics addressed by the project.
- Sustain the regular contact and communication among its members towards future and further R&I activities relevant to open data.
